Summary
If you are on a corporate/business domain, Crystal Delivery will need permissions to access the mapped folder/file share that you're using to store the reports.
Solution
Crystal Delivery Pro works best using a service account. The service account must be given full permission to your mapped / file shares and you must run the Crystal Delivery Service using the service account user.
Technical Details
These instructions explain how to run the Crystal Delivery Service with your service account user.
This solution is most reliable as it is not affected by user password changes.
Solution Steps
- Click Start > Type Run
- Type services.msc > Press Enter
- Right-click Crystal Delivery Service in the list of services
- Select Properties
- Click Log On tab

- Click Browse button
- Enter your service account user and click the Check Names button
- Click OK Button > Enter the correct service user password
- Click Apply
- Note: You should see a similar dialog about the service account user being granted the Log On As A Service right
